We are looking for an energetic, outgoing, and highly organized individual to head up our wonderful team of bread and pastry bakers, drivers, and retail staff at Clear Flour Bread in Brookline Ma. We are a 25 year old, family owned and operated, nationally recognized, artisan bakery that specializes in creating the authentic breads of Italy, France and Germany serving them with unparalleled service to our Brookline neighborhood as well as to wholesale accounts in the greater Boston metropolitan area.

Our GM is the public face of our bakery as well as performing (or overseeing) various duties including HR, A/P, A/R, a lively and managing a thriving retail storefront and W/S accounts. Our wholesale operations run 24/7 and our retail is open 7 days a week.

Preferred Qualifications:
• 2± years food & hospitality industry management or similar.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, File Maker Pro, and Quick Books Pro. Knowledge of graphics software a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills, as well as written and oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with the Boston area food scene from ingredient suppliers to restaurants.
• Strong interest in food, some knowledge of bread baking and pastry.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain organization as this is not strictly an office job.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Work Week: Typically Monday through Friday daytime hours, though must be flexible and willing to work weekends during holidays, busy times, and shortage of retail employees.
